So how do I get my own loop app?
All you have to do is start a subscription. After completing the checkout process, you become the host / admin of a new loop which gives you controls to invite and delete users. Within 24 hours, an email will be sent with instructions on accessing your loop app.
How do I join someone else's loop?
You will either receive an email from the owner of the loop, or they can share the sign up instructions any other method they choose (text, in person, etc). You will need the loop URL (https://<loopidentifier>.the-family-loop.com) and the loop password (ie johnson_1234efgh)
Can I really trust you with my data?
All your messages and photos are not only protected by the loop password (which prevents unauthorized parties from logging into your loop), but they are also encrypted using the most modern cryptographic encryption methods.
How do you justify your prices?
Our pricing model allows us to scale to as many subscribers as possible that want to ditch their old social media accounts. We need to charge a small fee to pay for servers and data storage because we don't sell your location, messages or media data to cover the infrastructure like every other big tech social media.
Is the app available in the app store?
Currently there are no plans to add the app to either the iOS or google play store as there are additional fees that would prevent us from maintaining such a low fee for our service. When we use the terminology "app" we refer to the ability to add the website to your home screen as a PWA (progressive web app). It only takes a few clicks!
